Description of the organization
Zavod Aloja, a long-term care institution established in 2013, as a non-governmental and non-profit organization, enlisted in the register of providers of home care social services. We operate mainly in the field of social protection, in the network of assistance for older people who are at risk of social exclusion or need support and assistance in everyday life. We run intergenerational center programs, dementia programs, and other gerontology programs.
We are also focused on the implementation of social protection programs intended for intergenerational cooperation and programs in the field of dementia. We operate locally, also at the homes of ours users. We build and promote networking of contractors, while cooperating with other contractors from the public and non-governmental sector in the local environment, as well as more widely. The implementation of the programs is complemented by voluntary work and study practice. The programs are free for our users.
How the organisation will contribute to the dissemination and exploitation of the project results
- exchange of experience and expertise in the field of health literacy education and training on dementia,
- test of the test version of the online course "Be connected" (in English),
- participation at the multiplier event to be organized by ZDUS in Ljubljana in 2022,
- networking with other stakeholders,
- use of project results,
- project promotion.
