Description of the organization
U.S. Acli Torino is promoted by the ACLI to support and develop motor, recreational and sports activities for people of all ages and social conditions. For more than 25 years, its slogan has been "SPORT FOR ALL AND BY ALL" and it promotes activities aimed at overcoming marginalisation and discrimination in the world of sport.
Convinced that motor and sporting activities, without exception, have an important educational dimension, for many years we have been proposing play-motricity activities and introduction to sporting activities in schools, seeking to give due educational value to body education, play-motor activities, physical education and introduction to sport, considering them tools for promoting loyalty and tolerance among young people.
The objectives that we as an organisation have been pursuing for years are reinforced by what is indicated in the "White Paper on Sport" (European Sports Commission - 2007), in which "Sport for Citizenship" projects are understood to be those relating to motor-sport and recreational activities organised to pursue the following aims
(a) to guarantee the right to play and movement to citizens of all ages, different abilities and social categories
b) to promote active lifestyles, useful to prevent physical and psychological pathologies, both individual and of social importance, and to maintain an adequate state of health;
c) promoting the educational function of sport both as an opportunity for individual growth and for the development of the community;
d) promoting social integration also in an intercultural perspective;
e) to educate people to share choices in a community context and to the principles of participation, co-responsibility, non-violence and sustainability;
f) include all citizens in the practice of motor and sport without discrimination or exclusion on the basis of technical-sporting ability, in particular with regard to people who show conditions of discomfort and suffering, promoting the culture of sharing and solidarity;
g) promoting and organising sustainable motor sport activities that respect people, society and the environment.
How the organisation will contribute to the dissemination and exploitation of the project results

The organisation is willing to promote and disseminate the project activities; it is also willing to offer training to its sports and educational staff.
If necessary, it could offer its expertise in health, integration and inclusion to project actions.
