Description of the organization
Mentor promotes durable employment for disadvantaged groups on the labour market. For jobseekers we offer orientation, vocational training programmes and individual guidance. For employees we offer screening and selection, job coaching and language coaching, career guidance and outplacement.
How the organisation will contribute to the dissemination and exploitation of the project results
Mentor is officially recognized by FE.BI; the federal platform for social subvention of the non-profit sector. Centres for elderly care, hospitals, nursery at home, rehabilitation centres, health services,... can ask Mentor to provide training sessions (as described above 'description educators') on the floor. Already 5 years Mentor offers these sessions (mainly in centres for elderly care) for a mixed public of professional adults as nurses, health care professionals, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, maintenance professionals, social assistants,... Also high schools are very interested in our training sessions.
In the project Mentor is willing to disseminate the project and to share experiences during the training sessions 'empathy for people suffering from dementia' and 'D'oede doze dementia'.
As a return the MYH4D project is willing to refer to the Mentor training sessions 'empathy for people suffering from dementia'. In this way people who visit the result of the MYH4D project can get interested in the Mentor training sessions. For those who are interested to organise a full customised (for volunteers, professionals, teachers, family members, informal caregivers,...) training session the MOOC of MYH4D can refer to the in situ training (training on the spot) sessions of half a day.
In the same way the results of the MYH4D project and the MOOC can be disseminated during the training sessions we organise by implementing the D'oede doze dementia simulation kit.
Also on this spot the MOOC of MYH4D can refer to the customised D'oede doze training sessions we organise by implementing the 10 dementia simulation tools. So visitors of the MOOC can get interested in the D'oede doze dementia simulation kit.
